How does HIFU treatment work?

HIFU uses focused ultrasound to tighten skin and stimulate collagen by targeting multiple skin layers, including SMAS, effectively treating areas like double chins.

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) energy is beamed below the skin in four different layers; these are 1.5mm,2mm,3.0mm and 4.5mm. We use a 6mm cartridge to target fat cells for the chin to treat a double chin effectively. HIFU affects three layers of the superficial and dermis along with SMAS, the same layer of tissue that surgeons pull tight in a facelift. As thermal energy safely heats this tissue, the skin contracts, resulting in tightening of the skin and the formation of new collagen, which provides a longer-term tightening effect.
